charis' famous fudge!!!!

this is my favorite recipe....it's wonderful, and quite easy as well. my specialty.......



3 cups sugar

1/3 cup butter/margarine

2/3 cup evaporated milk


combine in saucepan, cook at med/high for several minutes....not too

long... just until the sugar is dissolved (read, mixture is not grainy).

turn off stove, add:


24 oz. (2 regular bags) [680g] chocolate chips

1 teaspoon vanilla


stir thoroughly, until chips are melted. immediately pour into greased pan. serve at your convenience....
